Brentwood Man Arrested On DUI Charge After Crash With Parked Cars In Novato

NOVATO (CBS SF) -- Novato police arrested a Brentwood man Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle collided with several parked cars on Bolling Circle, a police sergeant said.

Zachery Ahmet Mazici, 23, was driving south on Bolling Circle near Tinker Way when he struck the parked vehicles around 11 p.m., Sgt. Jennifer Dunlap said.

Mazici's vehicle stopped a short distance away and he showed signs of impairment from prescription drugs, Dunlap said.

Mazici and a 23-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Dunlap said.

Mazici was treated at a hospital and booked into the Marin County Jail for DUI, Dunlap said.
