Brentwood Home Search Yields Weapons, Drugs, Stolen Motorcycle
BRENTWOOD (BCN) - Weapons, drugs and a stolen motorcycle were seized during a search of a property near Brentwood on Monday morning, Brentwood police said.
Brentwood police served a search warrant in the 10000 block of Brentwood Boulevard, near Sellers Avenue, at about 9 a.m. Monday along with Walnut Creek police, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The search was the culmination of a months-long investigation by Brentwood police "involving the manufacturing of an explosive device," police said.
A resident who was home at the time of the search, 32-year-old Dennis Lindsay, was arrested and booked into Contra Costa County Jail on an outstanding warrant related to the investigation, according to police.
No explosive devices were found on the property, which is located in an unincorporated area.
