Brentwood Children Hospitalized After Drinking Mystery Liquid
BRENTWOOD (CBS SF) - Two young children were hospitalized Sunday after ingesting an unknown liquid at a home in Brentwood, a police lieutenant said Tuesday.
Police responded around noon Sunday to a home in the 200 block of Grisby Court after being told that the two children drank an unknown liquid from a water bottle, Brentwood police Lt. Tom Hansen said.
The children became sick and were taken by medical helicopter to Children's Hospital in Oakland to be treated, Hansen said. He said they are both expected to survive.
Police are still awaiting toxicology reports to determine what was in the bottle, Hansen said.
