Brawl Breaks Out On SF Market Street After Woman Blocks Muni Streetcar
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A woman clinging to the front of a historic San Francisco Muni trolley car ended up in a brawl on Market Street after bystanders tried to calm her down. The incident was captured on video by nearby pedestrians.
The undated YouTube videos posted Wednesday showed a woman yelling at the operator of an F-Market Street trolley through the front windshield. There is no clear indication of what started the incident, but the woman could be heard yelling "I want to go home."

Eventually, two bystanders came up and tried to pull the woman down from the car. She turned on one of the pedestrians and the two began throwing punches in a fight that spilled into the center median of the street in the Mid-Market neighborhood.
The fight ended with the woman knocked to the ground in front of the trolley. She was motionless for several seconds, and her medical condition is not known.
The Muni trolley was delayed for several minutes during the incident.
The F-Market line is the same Muni route that saw a man trapped under a car and injured last Friday.
