BottleRock Napa Valley Confirms 2014 Festival Dates
NAPA (CBS SF) – Napa's answer to Coachella and Outside Lands, BottleRock Festival has confirmed dates for their upcoming annual concert event. The 3-day event will take place on Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, according to 360 Media.
This announcement comes hours after BR Festivals LLC, the company that produced the show filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, this according to the Napa Valley Registry.
In July 2013, organizers of the festival had to contend with two lawsuits over unpaid bills by a bus company and a portable toilet company seeking more than $700,000.
A local Napa Valley promotional company, Latitude 38 Entertainment stepped up and agreed to purchase production rights, trade fixtures and intellectual property of the BottleRock Festival.
Critics have applauded BottleRock's diverse, world-class 2013 musical lineup as well as their food and wine experience. With a venue of the 26-acre Napa Valley Expo, its central location in Wine Country begs to have only the very best cuisine.
It is L38's vision "is to blend music, food, wine and community to enhance and elevate Napa Valley's offerings and reputation as a world-class destination to live, play and work."
The first annual BottleRock festival featured top name talents such as Kings of Leon, Mavis Staples, The Black Keys, Dwight Yoakam and a up-and-coming, future Grammy-award winning Hip Hop duo, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Bottlerock officials say they will soon have a musical line-up for this year's event.
