Body Found In East Oakland Garbage Can
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A body was found in a trashcan in East Oakland on Thursday evening, an Oakland police officer said.
Police were called to the 1000 block of 81st Avenue around 7:40 p.m. where the body was found in the garbage, Oakland police Officer Kevin McDonald said.
Investigators are treating the death as a homicide, McDonald said.
More information about the victim was not immediately being released by the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
