Bob Weir To Produce Amazon Limited Series on The Grateful Dead
(CBS SF) – Amazon Studios has announced plans to develop a limited series based on Bay Area and iconic rock band The Grateful Dead, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Based on the Steve Parish authored book "Home Before Daylight: My Life On the Road With the Grateful Dead in 2003. However, no writer has been picked yet.
Founding member Bob Weir is designated excutive producer of the original series along with Parish. Weir will oversee the soundtrack.
