Bill Cosby's Scheduled June Appearance In Santa Rosa Postponed Indefinitely
SANTA ROSA (KCBS)— A performance by comedian Bill Cosby scheduled for June in Santa Rosa has been postponed indefinitely according to the venue.
The Wells Fargo Center for The Arts announced on Friday through a mutual agreement between the promoter and Cosby that the June 6th performance has been called off.
Cosby has canceled or postponed more than a dozen shows on his comedy tour in the wake of allegations by numerous women that they were sexually abused by the 77-year-old actor and comedian.
Many of the accusations fall outside the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution or lawsuits.
Cosby has denied wrongdoing and hasn't been charged with any crime.
Ticket holders will be automatically issued a refund for their ticket. Those who purchased with credit card can expect to see it within five to seven business days.
Those who paid with cash or check will be mailed a refund check within 14 business days.
