Best Mojitos On The Peninsula

The summer months are a perfect time to relax, bask in glorious Bay Area sunlight and enjoy a refreshing cocktail. Among the most popular summer drinks is the mojito. It originated in Cuba and is considered its national drink. The classic mojito consists of white rum, sugar cane juice, club soda, muddled mint leaves and ice. Together the ingredients create one of the world's most delicious and satisfying cocktails and the favorite drink of famed American author and journalist Ernest Hemmingway, although he preferred champagne in place of club soda. For Bay Area residents and visitors alike, the following are five of the best places to have a mojito in the San Francisco Peninsula.
