Berkeley Area Struck By Another Minor Earthquake
BERKELEY (CBS SF) - Another small earthquake centered in Berkeley struck the Bay Area overnight. The shaker hit in the same area as a series of quakes last week.
The USGS recorded the magnitude 2.4 quake at 2:42 a.m. The tremor was centered two miles east of Berkeley a depth of 6.2 miles.
The same area was jolted by a pair of quakes on October 20th that measured 4.0 and 3.8. Those were followed by a 3.6 quake last Thursday.

There were no initial reports of damage or injury from Monday's quake.
