Return Of Marine Layer To Ease Bay Area Heat Wave
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Partly cloudy skies and patchy fog in the Bay Area were bringing cooler temperatures to the region Tuesday morning.
"It will be at least 10 degrees cooler at many of our inland locations today," KPIX 5's Roberta Gonzales forecasts from the Weather Center.
The coast will see only partial clearing, as the marine layer makes an onshore push, bringing cloud cover inland as far as the Berkeley Hills.

The Central Valley may still see triple digit temperatures, but more seasonal temperatures are in the Bay Area forecast, with only the far East Bay cracking the 90's.
Partly cloudy skies are likely this evening. Lows are expected to be in the mid-50s, with southwesterly winds of up to 20 mph.
Mostly cloudy skies are likely Wednesday morning, with patchy fog and breezy conditions continuing the cooling trend.
