BART Service Restored In SF After Report Of Possible Kidnapping

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Service has been restored to all BART trains after reports of a possible kidnapping in downtown San Francisco Friday afternoon, according to BART officials.

At 4:38 p.m. BART reported on Twitter that all trains had been released and apologized for the delay.

BART reported on Twitter at 4:17 p.m. to expect major delays on San Francisco International Airport, Millbrae, Daly City and Easy Bay bound trains due to police activity.

BART officials later described the incident on Twitter as a "domestic dispute."

A BART spokesman said a father tried to take a child from a mother and nearly boarded a train at the Montgomery Station.
