Attorney For Vallejo Woman Says Email From Alleged Kidnappers Outlines Sophisticated Operation Involving Drones, Infrared Cameras
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- The attorney for a woman who claims she was kidnapped from her Vallejo home revealed an email he says the alleged kidnappers sent detailing exactly what happened when Denise Huskins was kidnapped.
"It is a crime I have never seen before. It is a crime that puts all of us in jeopardy, and Denise Huskins was just a victim," Huskins' lawyer Doug Rappaport said. He described her ordeal as "frightening. She thought she was going to die."
A 15-page email he says was written by Denise's alleged kidnappers, detailing their criminal operation, and the sophisticated methods they use.
"They say they entered a number of homes on Mare Island with hidden cameras, and used drones and infrared heat sensors," Rappaport said.
Rappaport says the email even had specifics about who they targeted.
"They say they avoid homes with children and anyone over fifty, or any member of the military."
But, Vallejo police are calling the reported kidnapping a hoax, and a waste of time that scared an entire community.
Police say Huskins and her boyfriend Aaron Quinn could face charges once their investigation is complete.
