'Arrow' Star Marries Long-time Partner
(KBCW) - Following the Supreme Court's overturning of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), John Barrowman who plays Malcolm Merlyn on "Arrow," married his long-time partner of 20 years, Scott Gill on Tuesday.
Barrowman announced their wedding through WhoSay.com, thanking the Supreme Court "…about time you made it legal." In 1991, the Scottish-born Barrowman met British architect, Gill who attended a play at the Chichester Festival Theatre, starring Barrowman, according to Wales Online. In 2006, the couple entered a civil-partnership in Great Britain.
After the ceremony, the couple tweeted a photo and their thanks for the many supporters of their marriage.
