SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A man suspected of robbing and stabbing a clerk at a San Jose jewelry store on Monday night was arrested Tuesday, San Jose police said.
The victim, a 62-year-old man, was stabbed multiple times around 8:50 p.m. at Gomez Jewelry Store in the 100 block of South White Road, police said.
After stabbing the victim, the attacker stole items from him, including his car, police said.

The victim's car was recovered near Story Road and McGinness Avenue, police said.
Police encourage jewelry store owners to maintain a working video surveillance system, call police if they witness unusual activity, and note names and license plate numbers of people they believe to be suspicious.
