Armed 'Unresponsive' Suspect Arrested In West Oakland After Tactical Police Response
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- An unresponsive suspect with a gun was arrested in West Oakland Sunday morning, according to police.
Around 7:30 a.m. officers responded to the vicinity of 36th and Peralta on reports of an unresponsive person in a car with a firearm in his or her lap, according to Oakland police Lt. Chris Bolton.
The suspect was safely arrested at 8:02 a.m. after a full tactical response, Bolton said.
Further details about the suspect and the circumstances surrounding the arrest were not immediately available.
