Armed Robbers Target Stanford Student's Apartment

STANFORD (CBS SF) - The Stanford Department of Public Safety has released a sketch of one of two suspects in an armed robbery at a university student housing complex on Tuesday.

The robbery occurred around 8 p.m. in an apartment in Quillen Courtyard in Stanford University's Escondido Village, according to police.

A student told police that a man and woman forced their way into his apartment and took his property at gunpoint. Both suspects had firearms but they did not harm the victim, police said.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic woman between 20 and 30 years old. She was wearing dark clothing.
