Antioch Police Detain 35 Minors In Curfew Sweep

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Officers in Antioch detained 35 minors during a curfew sweep Friday night and early Saturday morning.

The Antioch Police Department and REACH Project Inc., an addiction treatment center that also runs a youth intervention program, collaborated in the sweep, which began at 11 p.m. Friday and ended Saturday at 3 a.m.

The minors were brought into the Police Department's processing center and turned over to REACH Project staff who counseled them before releasing them to their parents or guardians.
