Antioch Police Arrest Suspect In Stabbing
ANTIOCH (BCN) - A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with a Thursday night stabbing outside an Antioch bar, police said.
Just before midnight, a 36-year-old man was leaving Cruisers Saloon, located at 1611 A St., when police say he was confronted by Pedro Santos.
During an altercation between the two men, Santos allegedly stabbed the victim several times in the chest, back and face, police said.
The victim was transported to John Muir Medical Center and underwent surgery for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Santos was arrested at the scene and booked into the Main Detention Facility in Martinez.
