AnnaLynne McCord Gets 'Scorned' In New Thriller
90210's AnnaLynne McCord is set to star in Scorned, directed by Mark Jones of "Leprechaun" fame. Scorned also stars Billy Zane of "Titanic" and Viva Bianca of "Spartacus" on Starz. The announcement came Thursday through producers Lance Thompson of Portsmouth Pictures, Charles Ison and Martin Sprock of Horse Head Pictures, executive producer Seth Willenson and Robert Beaumont, executive producer and President of Lightning Entertainment.
The revenge thriller, tells the story of a couple, Sadie and Kevin (McCord & Zane). As the couple spends a romantic weekend at a lake house, Kevin receives a provocative text from Sadie's best friend Jennifer (Bianca), revealing a torrid affair between the two closest to her. McCord's character then becomes "hell-bent" to take revenge on the two.
According to Comingsoon.net, director Mark Jones said, "Having done horror with comedy, I wanted to delve into something more sophisticated along the lines of "Fatal Attraction" and "Misery," and develop a multi-dimensional, twisted character in our lead villain (Annalynne McCord), who I feel brings an original and incredibly unique take on her character."
