Andy Serkis Gets Into Character in 'Dawn of The Planet of The Apes'
(CBS SF) - It is Andy Serkis' second outing as "Caesar" leader of the genetically enhanced apes in this summer's blockbuster hit "Dawn of The Planet of The Apes."
Serkis, best known for his motion captured performances as "Gollum" in the "Hobbit" & "Lord of The Ring" series, is quite used to putting on the form fitting suit and reflective markers.
Serkis' recently sat down with Entertainment Reporter Liam Mayclem, appropriately enough, at Crissy Field in San Francisco's Presidio. The two talked about developing and evolving "Caesar" from the previous "Apes" film "Rise of The Planet of The Apes" to "Dawn of The Planet of The Apes."
