Alicia Keys Has A Baby Boy

NEW YORK (CBS) - Thursday night, Alicia Keys gave birth to Egypt Dean in New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. Keys and husband Swizz Beatz' baby boy is a first for the superstar family. Earlier this year, the couple married shortly after Keys publicly revealed that she was pregnant.

Egypt was born after Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, along with friends Usher and Jay Sean appeared in the "Buy Life" campaign, announced last week. Swizz Beatz professed his excitement for his son's birth on Twitter. "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!"

Keys, 29, and Swizz, 31, married in August following the May announcement that they were expecting their first child.

And in more baby news, "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, actor David Burtka, are fathers of twins; a boy and a girl.

Harris announced the big news Friday via Twitter. "On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey." The actor announced in August that he and Burtka would be parents of twins in the fall.
