Alameda County Deputy Implicated In OPD Sex Scandal
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- The sex scandal involving several Oakland police officers may be more wide-reaching than first reported as word surfaced Monday of an Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy being implicated in the case.
The East Bay Express reported investigators are looking at Facebook posts by Celeste Guap tagging Deputy Eric Chaloner.
Chaloner appears to respond to the posts.
Guap is at the center of an investigation into whether she had sex with potentially dozens of officers when she was only 16.
She's been linked to an Oakland Police Officer Brendan O'Brien -- who committed suicide last fall.

Investigators say O'Brien left a note that lead to an initial internal affairs investigation.
A subsequent investigation ordered by a federal judge led to many Oakland police officers admitting they had lied during the first internal affairs investigation about their relationships with Guap.
Sources say one officer also admitted to knowing she was underage when he had sex with her.
KPIX 5 has learned one of the Oakland police officers who resigned as a result of the sexual misconduct investigation is Terryl Smith.
Sources tell the East Bay Times the other officer is James Ta'ai.
