Alameda County Deputy Arrested On Rape Charge
DUBLIN (CBS/AP) - A Bay Area sheriff's deputy has been arrested for the off-duty rape of a woman in September.
Contra Costa County prosecutors say 27-year-old Alameda County Deputy David Reta is charged with raping a woman in Moraga on Sept. 9.
Reta was arrested when he arrived for work on Wednesday at the Dublin jail. He was released after posting $125,000 bail.
Morage police Chief Robert Priebe says the Reta knew the woman and the deputy was off duty at the time of the incident.
