Alameda Bar Fight Leads To Stabbing, 2 Hospitalized
ALAMEDA (CBS SF) -- Two men were taken to hospitals after a fight at an Alameda bar early Monday morning, a police lieutenant said.
The fight was reported at Scobies Grill & Bar at 2431 Central Ave. at 1:51 a.m.
Responding officers arrived to find one man with a cut to his neck and a second with a cut to his head, Lt. Ted Horlbeck said. The attackers had fled.
The first victim was taken to Highland Hospital where he underwent surgery and is now listed in stable condition, Horlbeck said.
The second victim was transported to Alameda Hospital, where he was treated for the head wound and released.
Police are still trying to determine what type of weapon was used, Horlbeck said.
Investigators were also still looking into what started the fight.
No arrests had been made in the case.
