9 Bay Area Sports Organizations Take The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
It seems like everyone these days is taking part in the Ice Bucket challenge for ALS. It seems to be working too— the viral media campaign has raised over $4 million for the cause.
Many of our own Bay Area athletes got in on it, both the ice water, and the donations, from the Warriors to the 'Quakes.

The Director of Athletics opted to not drop a bucket of water due to the drought, but donated a check to the cause.
