7-Month-Old Infant Found Dead In San Jose Home
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - An infant death overnight that was being investigated by San Jose police appears to have been accidental, a police spokesman said Tuesday.
The 7-month-old baby boy died while sleeping in South San Jose early Tuesday morning, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said. There is no evidence of foul play, he said.
Police received a 911 call around 1:15 a.m. about a non-responsive infant at a home in the 5300 block of Makati Circle near the Blossom Hill Caltrain station.
The boy was deceased when officers arrived, police said.
Police will not be releasing any additional information about the case, Dwyer said.
