6 Injured In 4 Separate Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A total of six victims were wounded in four different shootings in Oakland Monday, an Oakland police officer said.
Two victims shot Monday night suffered serious injuries. One was in critical condition and the other was in guarded condition, Officer J. Moore said.
They were shot near the corner of Brookdale and Coolidge avenues in East Oakland at 9:48 p.m. The two victims were not together, but were both found shot nearby and transported to the hospital.

Earlier two victims were also shot in East Oakland, in the 1400 block of 70th Avenue at 6:33 p.m.
They were both transported to a hospital and are in stable condition, Moore said.
Another shooting happened shortly before 5 p.m. near Lake Merritt. A man was found shot there and taken to a hospital. Police are searching for a man believed to be the shooter.
In the Temescal neighborhood at about 3:30 p.m., one victim was shot and another narrowly avoided being hit by gunfire, Moore said.
They were both shot at in the 5800 block of Shattuck Avenue. One man was hit and transported to a hospital in stable condition. The other victim's pant leg was shot and he narrowly avoided being injured.
Police are searching for a man who shot at them from a car, Moore said.
