SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- With the 2014 NFL season underway, predictions are already rolling in on just how far the San Francisco 49ers will go.
PredictionMachine.com released their season forecast, which puts the 49ers in the playoffs, but maybe not going all the way.
The 49ers received a power ranking of 4, with a playoff probability of 47.9-percent, and a Super Bowl win probability of just 4-percent.
Michael Crabtree was named most important offensive player, while NaVorro Bowman was named most important on the defense.
Division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks fared a bit better than the Niners in the predictions. The team received a Super Bowl win probability of 22.6-percent.
Another site, Bovada gave the 49ers better odds for a Super Bowl win, giving them the third highest ranking with a 15 in 2 chance at another Lombardi Trophy, the same odds they were given last season.
