4 Hurt In Separate Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- At least four people, including one male juvenile, were shot in three separate incidents Friday night and early Saturday morning, an Oakland police officer said.
A victim who was shot in the foot walked up to a DUI checkpoint at 34th Street and San Pablo Avenue to get assistance at 8:48 p.m., said Officer Kevin McDonald.
Another shooting was reported at 9:17 p.m. in the 1200 block of E. 15th St. A male juvenile was found with a gunshot wound and hospitalized.
Just before 2 a.m. police responded to a shooting in the 6500 block of Fenham St. where two gunshot victims were found, McDonald said.
Police did not have suspects in custody for the shootings or know the extent of victims' injuries.
