4 Dead In Apparent Pittsburg Murder-Suicide
PITTSBURG (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a murder-suicide in a quiet Pittsburg neighborhood in which a man apparently shot and killed himself and three relatives early Thuersday morning.
Pittsburg police Lt. Ron Raman said police received a call around 4 a.m. from a man who said he had hurt his family members and was going to kill himself.
Officers arrived at the home at 252 Jack London Court within minutes but didn't enter the home right away.

"We did not know what the mindset of this individual was," Raman said. "We didn't want to put officers at risk."
Officers staked out the home and tried unsuccessfully to make contact with the man on his cellphone, Raman said.
Finally, around 9 a.m., they entered the home and found the suspected shooter, a 39-year-old man, dead, Raman said.
They also found the bodies of a 36-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman, Raman said.
Two bodies were found in one bedroom and two in another, he said.
Police have not yet released the names of the deceased, but a neighbor identified the younger couple as Jason and Cindy Aube, and said the older victims were Cindy Aube's parents.
The neighbor, Cecilia Abubo, said she was never aware of any fighting or disturbances at the home.
"This is a quiet neighborhood and we didn't see any commotion," she said.
Raman said the suspect had posted something on Facebook indicating that he was thinking of killing himself because of financial problems.
"Our initial investigation tells us he was suffering from severe financial obligations and as a result ended up shooting himself," Raman said.
Raman said the man had multiple jobs, and had switched jobs several times recently.
On Thursday afternoon, the gray-and-white two-story home was cordoned off with crime scene tape, and police were searching a red Dodge Durango parked in the driveway.
Animal services personnel were taking a cat away in a cage, and Raman said three dogs also lived at the home.
Neighbor Francine Skedsmo, who said she has lived across the street from 252 Jack London Court for 12 years, knew the suspect and the victims.
"I didn't know they had any problems," she said.
She said that they had recently thrown a Halloween party with a trampoline in the yard, and had been giving out candy to trick-or-treaters.
Raman said no children lived at the home.
Skedsmo said she and the suspect's wife had thrown block parties together for the past four years in an effort to get to know their neighbors.
She said she chatted with the suspect a few weeks ago about homes on the block that were in foreclosure, and that he was seemed upset about that.
"They were a wonderful couple," she said. "I'm shocked that this happened."
In recent weeks, Aube had posted his resume in a Craigslist ad stating that he was "looking for a career position." The most recent ad was dated Nov. 1.
"I have been a very strong sales professional who has just had some bad luck picking the right opportunity," his ad read. "I have a great work ethic that doesn't stop at 5 PM. I have the attitude that my job ends when my job is done."
A person who answered the phone at his most recent employer, Home Elements, Inc., said that Aube no longer worked for the company.
"All I can say is that everybody is in shock and we cannot believe it," the employee said.
According to Aube's resume, he began working for the company in March 2011.
Aube was a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, and had studied engineering and electronics, according to his resume and LinkedIn profile.
