4.3 NorCal Earthquake Strikes Humboldt County Coast

(CBS SF) -- A light earthquake shook a portion of the Northern California coast Monday morning in Humboldt County.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a 4.3 magnitude and struck at 10:33 a.m. local time just off the coast near the community of Petrolia, about 37 miles south-southwest of Eureka.

There were no injuries or damage reported. No tsunami warning was issued.
