4.3 Earthquake Rattles Hawaii's Big Island As Residents Prepare For Hurricane Iselle
HONOLULU (CBS SF) -- A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rocks the Kohala Region of Hawaii's Big Island as Hurricane Iselle prepares to make landfall.
The quake hit at 6:24 a.m. HST local time striking 7 miles northwest of Waimea and 159 miles southeast of Honolulu, according to the US Geological Survey.

The USGS reported the earthquake reaching a depth of about 8 miles.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a tsunami warning. No injuries or damage have been reported.
