3rd Woman Arrested In Bizarre Novato Halloween Home Invasion Robbery, Assault
NOVATO (CBS SF) - Police have arrested a third suspect in the bizarre robbery and assault of a Novato man in his home last month.
Molly Anna Blumberg, 21, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in connection with the robbery as she was walking in the 1100 block of Liberty Road in Petaluma around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
She is being held in Sonoma County Jail on $275,000 bail.
Blumberg is believed to have been dressed as a fairy when she and two other women allegedly robbed the 46-year-old victim in his home in the 2400 block of Center Road around 1:50 a.m. on Halloween morning, according to police.
Teresa Gollihugh, 20, was arrested later that day in Sonoma County on suspicion of robbery, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing serious injury and conspiracy. Police said she was dressed in military fatigues during the robbery.
Gollihugh's mother, Keren Anne Blake, 39, was arrested on the same charges at a homeless encampment in the 900 block of Petaluma Boulevard on Nov. 1.
Gollihugh and Blake are being held in Marin County Jail on $100,000 bail each, and were scheduled to be arraigned in Marin County Superior Court Tuesday morning.
Blumberg is being held on the warrant and an assault charge, and it is unknown when she will be transferred to Marin County Jail, a Sonoma County Jail employee said Monday morning.
Novato police said the first woman, believed to be Blumberg, entered the victim's home after she asked to use the phone.
Gollihugh—whom police said the victim knew—then allegedly entered the home and brandished a handgun, police said.
The victim became involved in a struggle with the intruders, and a third suspect, identified by police as Blake, then entered the home and assisted in the assault.
The victim escaped and sought help, and was found by arriving officers outside his home, bleeding from a head injury.
Novato police said they recovered property stolen from the victim when they arrested Blake.
