3 Teens Arrested On Suspicion Of Stabbing 14-Year-Old In South SF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Three teens were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and gang participation on Friday, following an investigation into a stabbing that happened in South San Francisco last month.
Officers identified the trio, all of whom are males aged 12, 14 and 15 years old, as suspects involved in the stabbing of 14-year-old boy on Oct. 30, according to police.
Around 7 p.m., the victim was walking on the Centennial Trail, near the 200 block of B Street, when six or seven males confronted him, police said.
The group allegedly yelled gang related terms at the victim, before stabbing him several times in the back. The suspects then fled on foot, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital to treat his injuries, which were considered non-life threatening.
Officers have booked the three teens into the Hillcrest Juvenile Facility, police said.
