3 Separate Sexual Assaults Reported At Outside Lands Festival In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police were investigating three separate sexual assaults reported at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival held in Golden Gate Park over the weekend, a San Francisco police spokesman said.
Three women filed separate reports of sexual assaults at the festival, which began Friday, and ended Sunday evening, police said.
Police were still interviewing the victims and possible witnesses, and did not believe the assaults were related. The attacks happened in three different locations. No arrests had been made.
Over 200,000 people attended the festival, featuring such acts as Stevie Wonder, Metallica, and Neil Young.
