3 People Injured In Two Separate Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Three victims were injured in two separate Oakland shootings Wednesday night, an Oakland police officer said.
The shootings happened within 40 minutes of each other on opposite sides of the city, police Officer J. Moore said.
The first was in East Oakland, in the 1100 block of 98th Avenue. Two victims there were shot in the leg at 8:41 p.m. and taken to a hospital where they are in stable condition Wednesday night.
The second shooting happened near the corner of 32nd and Magnolia streets in West Oakland at 9:15 p.m.
Multiple gunshots were heard in the area, and police later found a victim that transported themselves to a hospital. That victim is in stable condition Wednesday night.
No suspects are in custody in either shooting, Moore said.
