3 Shot In Violent SF Home Invasion Robbery
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — Three people were shot and injured during a violent home invasion robbery in San Francisco's Bayview District early Tuesday morning, and one of the victims is a suspect, according to police.
Police and emergency crews responded to a report of gunfire about 2:25 a.m. at a home on the initial block of Elmira Street, just south of Industrial Street.
Police spokesman Sgt. Dennis Toomer told KCBS that three men had gained entry into the home, where three adults and two children were inside, and shots were fired.

One woman, who was struck in the stomach, was in serious condition. The man, who was shot in the foot, was in stable condition. Another man who was a suspect was shot in the face and was in critical condition. All were taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
"There seems to be some kind of mix of gunfire. It appears that it could have been the suspect's gun that was used against him," Toomer said.
None of the children were injured.
The two other suspects fled the scene and were still at large.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911, the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" in the message.
