3 Hurt In Robbery At Santa Rosa Marijuana Grow House
SANTA ROSA (BCN) - Santa Rosa police were investigating an armed robbery and assault that occurred early Tuesday morning at a Citrine Way home where marijuana was being cultivated.
Three males forced their way into the South Park home, held five residents at gunpoint and struck three of them repeatedly with firearms, Sgt. Steve Fraga said.
The injured residents tried to fight off the suspects during the robbery, which lasted 10 to 15 minutes, Fraga said.
The residents were growing marijuana but the suspects stole cash and other personal items before fleeing in a vehicle, Fraga said.
Police were notified of the home invasion robbery at about 3:10 a.m.
The injured residents were identified as Jordan Schallock, 19, David Sherman, 34, and 32-year-old Andrew Fisse.
Two of the injured men were treated at a hospital for large head lacerations and released, and the third man sought medical attention for a head wound later in the day, Fraga said.
The Sonoma County Alliance's "Take Back Our Community" program has offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
