3 Hurt In Overnight Gun Violence In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Three people were in the hospital Saturday morning, 2 possibly in critical condition, after a night of gun violence in Oakland.
The first shooting which injured two people was reported at 10:49 p.m. in the 3600 block of Brown Avenue, police said.
Gunfire apparently went back and forth until it ended at a KFC restaurant parking lot at the end of the block, police said.
The KFC is located at 3734 MacArthur Blvd.
One person may have been detained in connection to the shooting, according to police.
Another victim was injured in a separate shooting in the 8700 block of Dowling Street at 11:55 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable but critical condition, police said.
The unknown suspect fled the scene, police said.
