2nd Suspect Identified In Vallejo Fatal Shooting

VALLEJO (BCN) - Vallejo police have identified a second suspect in the fatal shooting of an Alameda woman who was found dead in a parked car on Dublin Drive Saturday morning.

Sgt. Jeff Bassett said police have obtained an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Tione Hill, also known as Tito LaFlare.

Hill is known to frequent the Vallejo and Richmond areas and should be considered armed, Bassett said. He is a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police arrested 23-year-old Virshon Darian Ruff on Saturday. Both men are suspected of killing 27-year-old Cacee Danielle Savella of Alameda.  Her autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

Savella, who was in the right front seat of a white Ford Tempo, sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police responded to the area around 5 a.m. Saturday after someone called and reported the parked car.

Two men ran from the scene when officers arrived. Police chased the suspects, one of whom had blood on his clothing, and set up a perimeter in the area.

After a fruitless search for the suspects, officers deployed K-9 officers and handlers that specialize in tracking.

At 7:15 a.m., a Vallejo K-9 named Jaeger found Ruff hiding in a yard on Corcoran Avenue, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of bites inflicted by Jaeger and was later booked into Solano County Jail.

The homicide came almost exactly 24 hours after a similar shooting elsewhere in the city.

At about 5 a.m. Friday, Enrique Alejandro Jimenez was found dead, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, in a white Ford Bronco on Admiral Callaghan Lane, located just off of Interstate Highway 80.

Jimenez, 23, of Vallejo, was apparently shot while he was waiting to be picked up to go to work, Lt. Ken Weaver said.

"He was waiting for his boss. They carpooled together," he said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and no suspect information was available.

The shootings are Vallejo's first two homicides of 2011, police said.

Anyone with information about either murder is asked to call police at 1-800-488-9383 or (707) 648-4321.
