SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) – The San Francisco 49ers will face the Chicago Bears in the first regular season game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, according to the 2014 National Football League schedule which was released on Wednesday.
The regular season opener for Levi's Stadium will be on Sunday night, September 14th, with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The 49ers will begin the season the previous week on the road against their old rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
The first season at the 49ers' new home will also feature a Thanksgiving-night rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game against the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers are scheduled for four prime-time games in 2014, the two other being a Sunday night game against the Denver Broncos and a Monday Night game at the St. Louis Rams.
The Oakland Raiders also begin the season on the road against the New York Jets and face the 49ers at O.co Coliseum on December 7th.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith will face his old 49ers team when Kansas City comes to Levi's Stadium on October 2nd.
