2-Year-Old Recovering From Crash Linked To San Leandro Sideshow
SAN LEANDRO (KCBS) — A two-year-old is recovering from surgery for a broken neck suffered in a freeway accident allegedly caused by an illegal sideshow last month.
The sideshow occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20th on southbound Interstate 880 between Marina Boulevard and Interstate 238, stopping traffic according to CHP Officer Tim Moore.
Unlike the much publicized daytime sideshow that involved several cars on northbound 880 near the O.Co Coliseum in January, this one involved a single silver sedan.

"All traffic had stopped and he was just doing a few donuts and then he ended up colliding into a concrete wall there in the center median," said Moore.
Waiting in traffic was Jasmine Glenn in her black Impala, with her mother and two-year-old son, Corey. A white box truck couldn't stop in time and rear ended her, injuring Corey.
Glenn said Corey was bleeding from the mouth, but doctors at first couldn't find anything wrong based on head and neck scans. After a few weeks of not being able to straighten his head, she took him to Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center where doctors performed major surgery last Wednesday.
The truck driver was not cited and the CHP is looking for the person driving the silver sedan.
