2 Teens Hurt When Car Crashes Into A Tree In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Two teens were injured early Monday morning when their car hit a tree in East San Jose, a police spokesman said.
Officers responded at 2:44 a.m. to a report that a car had crashed into a tree near the intersection of Alum Rock Avenue and South White Road, police spokesman Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.
The male and female victims, both 17 years old, were inside a 1997 Toyota when the accident occurred, Dwyer said.
Both were transported to a hospital, Dwyer said. The names of the teens and the extent of their injuries are not being released.
The cause of the accident, including whether alcohol may have been a factor, is under investigation, he said.
