2 Stabbed In Separate Attacks In San Francisco Tenderloin District
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Two people were stabbed in separate attacks in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood early Monday morning.
In one incident, a man was stabbed and robbed of his cellphone shortly after 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of Hyde Street and Golden Gate Avenue.
The 31-year-old victim was approached by the suspect, who stabbed him and stole his phone, according to police.
The suspect, described only as a white man in his 30s, fled and had not been found as of Monday morning, police spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
Earlier Monday just after midnight, another man suffered serious injuries when he was cut in the neck on the 100 block of Eddy Street.
The 35-year-old victim was approached by three females who pushed him and then used a sharp object to cut him in the neck, according to police.
The attackers fled in a white Lexus and had not been found as of Monday morning.
In both incidents, the victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital for injuries which were not considered life-threatening.
