2 Sought After Shootout Inside San Jose Jewelry Shop
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Police are looking for two armed men who got into a shootout with the owner of a jewelry store during an attempted robbery Monday morning, police said.
The men entered the Joyeria Store Vanessa at 1642 Story Road near King Road shortly before 10:15 a.m. and apparently attempted to rob it, San Jose police Officer Albert Morales said.
At some point, at least one of the suspects fired at the storeowner, Morales said. The owner returned fire, and the pair fled without taking anything, he said.
No injuries were reported, and police were still trying to identify the suspects.
