2 Pleasanton Teens Stabbed In Front Of High School; Student Arrested
PLEASANTON (CBS SF) - Two Pleasanton teenagers were stabbed and seriously injured Thursday and police have arrested a 16-year-old high school student in the attack, police said.
At around 2:15 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a double stabbing in the area of 4750 First St., in front of Village High School and the offices of the Pleasanton Unified School District.
Officers found two boys, ages 16 and 17, suffering from stab wounds in their abdomen, according to Pleasanton police.
An ambulance rushed them to Eden Medical Center where they were taken to surgery shortly after their arrival.
The victims and several witnesses told police the attacker's name, and police found his residence in Civic Square Apartments with help from school officials.
The suspect attends Village High with one of the victims. The other victim attends Amador Valley High School. Police believe that the suspect had an ongoing dispute with the two victims.
The suspect was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
