2 Hospitalized In Separate Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - Two people were injured in separate shootings in Oakland overnight, but both are expected to survive, an Oakland police officer said.
The first shooting happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday when police were called to the 3400 block of Chestnut Street.
The victim was transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
The second shooting was reported at 12:45 a.m. Monday across town in the 1600 block of 14th Avenue.
The victim in the second shooting drove to the hospital for treatment and was also in stable condition.
