2 Hospitalized After Separate San Francisco Shootings
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Two people were injured in separate shootings in San Francisco early Monday morning, police said.
At about 4:30 a.m., a 20-year-old woman had just exited her vehicle in the area of San Jose Avenue and Duncan Street near the city's Bernal Heights neighborhood when she was shot in the shoulder and head, according to police.
She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
The suspect fled in a black, four-door vehicle, according to police.
About 30 minutes later, a separate shooting was reported at Turk and Taylor streets in the Tenderloin.
The victim, a man in his 20s, said he was walking when someone shot him in the arm, police said.
The man transported himself to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not life-threatening, according to police.
No arrests had been made in either case as of mid-morning.
