2 dead in vehicle-pedestrian collision in Monterey County
Two people died in a collision Sunday night in the Monterey County town of Seaside, according to police.
Around 10:15 p.m., a vehicle reportedly hit a pedestrian near Fremont Boulevard and Military Avenue. Police said the vehicle lost control and the driver was ejected.
Both driver and pedestrian died, according to police.
